Rock N Roll Hall of Fame Class of 2018

The Rock N Roll Hall Of Fame has announced the inductees in its Class of 2018, led by BON JOVI, THE CARS, and DIRE STRAITS.  Also being honored on April 14th in Cleveland will be THE MOODY BLUES and  NINA SIMONE.  Now let the speculation begin on who will be in attendance. Jon Bon Jovi and Riche Sambora split ways in 2013.  “Ritchie just didn’t show up at the show” , and according to Bon Jovi, there has been no communication with Sambora since he left them high and dry.  Meanwhile, David Knopfler, who founded Dire Straits with his sibling Mark, left the band in 1980 and says they now don’t speak, placing “a huge shadow on both our lives and families” The Cars broke up in 1988, and founding member Benjamin Orr lost his battle to pancreatic cancer in 2000.  In May 2011, the Cars went on a ten-city tour and also performed at Lollapalooza in Chicago in August, but have not performed together since.
