Sunday was science project day at my house. The kids chose the projects they were each interested in doing, we bought all of the materials and got to work. The kids did most of the work themselves for the actual experiments. The next step will be putting together a display for their science fair. We need a purpose, hypothesis, conclusion and the display must include photos of the experiment and pictures of the materials used. As I’m thinking about how we’re going to pull all of this off, it became clear that these projects are more for the parents to do than the kids. Are my 9 and 11 year olds really going to type out and print all of the text, charts and photos? If I don’t get an “A” I’m going to be very disappointed!
We did school science projects at my house this weekend and had so much FUN! ~Joey
