Día de Los Muertos is one of my favorite holidays. Growing up Hispanic and on the border it was a very important holiday to us. One where we remembered times with our loved ones who had passed on and making new memories with our families who are still here today.
I’ve found a second home in San Jose and decided I need to celebrate it out here as well. Where would be the best place to celebrate? My house? A festival? With friends? Honestly, I’m not sure but I did find out the San Jose Museum of Art is having a celebration Saturday. It’s described as “a full day of live entertainment, cultural demonstrations, and an eclectic mix of art-making experiences.”
It’s free to attend and while you’re there your admission to the museum is free as well.
