Patrick Marleau traded to Pittsburgh

According to multiple sources, the Pittsburgh Penguins have reportedly acquired forward Patrick Marleau from the San Jose Sharks in exchange for a third-round pick in 2021. If the Penguins win the Cup, it becomes a second-round pick.

Marleau was selected No. 2 by the Sharks in 1997 and was currently in his second stint with the Sharks.

He has 1,186 career points, 50th-most in NHL history.
