San Jose wants this to be the new normal.
The Bay Area will begin to get back to business this Friday. Santa Clara County is included. However, you’ll need your face covering – don’t leave home without them. San Jose wants to take the measure further.
The new county public health order that goes into effect Friday, requires residents to wear a face covering when going to any business — even if it’s outdoors. The requirement will include public transit. Businesses will be required to post signs reminding patrons to wear a face covering. In fact, when out in public at all, residents are “strongly encouraged” to wear a face covering.
“It is clearly the best practice throughout the world in dealing with this crisis,” San Jose Mayor Sam Liccardo said. “And it’s far less obtrusive than a lot of other things that we might have to do if we end up getting a second spike in cases.”
I already own more than one face covering. I keep one at home, one in my car, one at work – just in case.
I’m guess I’m ready for anything in San Jose. Do you keep more than one face covering?
