Your first concert

By Karina on February 7, 2020

It’s hard to forget your first concert (unless you’ve never been to a concert or you were extremely young).

A few days ago, we got curious and asked what your first concert was on Facebook.

You didn’t fail us. It looks like you love concerts as much as we do. This is why we are great friends, huh?

Let see some of your answers:

Justin O: “1982 day on the green..the tubes…toto..gamma..santana and journey on the escape tour..i was 10 years old and it changed my life forever.”

Shane: “Day on the green 1991 Metallica, Queensrÿche, Faith No More and Soundgarden”

Kristina: “Scorpions, Iron Maiden, Girlschool-Oakland Coliseum ‘82”

Douglas: “The Kinks at the Greek Theater, Berkeley. 1981. Also my first date.”

Stephen: “Night Ranger opening for Sammy Hagar. 3 lock box tour at the Cow Palace.” — This is familiar…they’re both playing our 30th anniversary show!

Michael: “My dad took me to Carlos Santana at the shoreline in 97”

Will: “Ozzy and Motley Crue at the San Jose Civic Auditorium, 1983?”

Monica: “Rick Sprinfield & The SJ Performing Arts in 1981… my big brother took me 😃”

Suzanne: “ELTON!”

And that’s not even half of the comments you left us. It looks like a lot of your first concerts were Day on the Green. Such a cool event that was!

My first concert? From what I was told it was Willie Nelson when I was 3. First concert that I remember, Jesse McCartney. JUDGE ME! haha. My music taste has definitely evolved, but I will always have a soft spot for him lol.
