SAN FRANCISCO - JULY 05: A Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) train is seen through a fence July 5, 2005 in San Francisco, California. With a strike deadline looming at the end of the July 5, BART management and union representatives are trying to hammer out a contract that would keep BART trains running and avoid potential gridlock on the roadways, as potentially over 300,000 regular BART commuters could take to the highways if the system shuts down. BART Is Now Opening Later

If you happen to take BART early in the morning don’t forget starting Monday, February 11th BART trains start running an hour later.

The extra hour is being used to seismically retrofit the Transbay Tube over the next five years.

The trains will now start at 5am.
