It’s not turkey, that’s for sure. It’s called Wet Egg (scrambled eggs) with green onions. The key is to leave it runny. It uses oyster sauce, and is found in Asian tradition. I’d eat this over turkey any holiday!
I’ve found the best place in the Bay Area for this dish to be Lucky House Restaurant, in Brisbane, CA (near the Cow Palace). They typically make it with shrimp, but sometimes I ask for eggs only!
In the South Bay, almost any place that serves Chinese food will make this dish if you ask, even when it’s not on the menu – so give it a try!
