It’s a really tough time right now. Not just in the South Bay but all across the world. Which has put a lot of people in tough financial positions.
We all have to prepare to pay for gas, car repairs, utilities, medicine and many other necessities.
If you are in a tough spot, consider going to a food bank.
The above pic is one I took at the grocery store, but Second Harvest of Silicon Valley offers much of the same free, fresh produce!
And, you can save the cans of food you stored up for last resort emergencies.
They don’t check income or ask questions. They ask you to self-check your need: but remember, you need merely to be concerned about paying your BILLS. You use the money you save on food to pay those bills.
Don’t be embarrassed. Even if you’re not 100% broke, it’s really just being responsible. The food is donated, and it’s good. Produce. Milk. Eggs. No reason not to check it out.
