LONDON, ENGLAND - OCTOBER 28: Scrap metal is sorted on Tilbury Docks along the river from Purfleet on October 28, 2019 in Tilbury, England. Would you go see a band of robots play music?

Yes you heard me right.  I said robots.  It’s actually pretty cool.  The robots are made from scrap metal by an artist named Kolja Kuglar from Germany.  His robot band is called The One Love Machine.  He builds them and then programs them to play music.  He finds the scrap metal pretty much anywhere. He might find something that looks like it would be used well as an eye and then starts building that band member around those finds.  What’s pretty cool is that the robots actually play the instruments. The guitar player really does strum the and pick the strings.  The drummer is really playing drums too.  The One Love Machine has played all around the world from tech events to TED Talks.  Right now the band plays punk rock.  Maybe one day they will programmed to play some METALLICA!
