The Safeway in downtown San Jose has reported that they are going to close down soon. The company did not give a single reason for the closure but one big reason could be the lack of public parking in the area

According to KTVU, Mayor Sam Liccardo said “Losing Safeway was something we anticipated might happen with the loss of the public parking at that site,” “We certainly tried to keep it. We weren’t successful. So we’re just going to have to work hard to find another grocery store there.”

The Safeway at 2nd and San Fernando streets will be closing its doors on June 14th.
