Movie theater closures are happening in the US

About a week ago, I asked you if you thought movie theaters should be closing their doors during the Coronavirus pandemic. Ultimately the decision was split. You can see the post below.

Well now it’s actually happening in the US. AMC Theaters, the largest theater chain in the United States, will shut its doors nationwide for between six to 12 weeks. You can read the press release HERE.

Regal cinemas will also be closing their doors. Of course, these theaters should be closed in the Bay Area already with the “shelter in place” order. Key word there is SHOULD.
