A yearly study ranks the hardest-working cities in America based on things like how many hours we work, and how many people have more than one job.
Once again, Anchorage, Alaska took the top spot, followed by San Francisco in second place. San Jose came in at 40 and Fremont at 34. I believe the reason for this is it’s so hard to live out here. Cost of living is constantly increasing so we must do what we can to survive.

Of the 100-plus cities they looked at, the bottom five are Detroit, Burlington, Vermont, Buffalo, New York, Cleveland and Bridgeport, Connecticut.
The average American will work about 34 hours a week this year or 1,786 total hours. That’s 106 more than Japan, and 248 more hours than the U.K.
