SAN JOSE, CA - APRIL 1: The American Airlines ticket counter at San Jose International Airport is shown empty April 1, 2003 after a SARS scare on a plane that carried passengers on American Airlines flight 128 from Tokyo to San Jose, California. The plane was briefly quarantined at the airport after arriving from Tokyo and five passengers were removed after they had complained of symptoms like those of the SARS illness. It was later reported that they did not have the mysterious virus. (Photo by David Paul Morris/Getty Images)

TSA officers at San Jose airport tested positive for Coronavirus

San Jose airport officials have reported that three TSA officers have tested positive for COVID-19.

All three officers are receiving medical attention at this time.

The three officers worked afternoon shifts at checkpoint B in Terminal B during their most recent days at work, according to the TSA.

According to KTVU, “the three agents last worked Feb. 21, Feb. 26 and March 2, respectively, and two were stationed at the checkpoint’s X-ray machines, scanning luggage and performing patdowns as needed. The third agent spent their shift as a travel document checker and screened entrants at the checkpoint’s known crew member access point.”
