Hey Morris Knight, here! Thanks for listening to me on 98.5 KFOX Monday thru Friday, 9am – 2pm. I just love the classic rock we play for you! Sabbath, U2, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Foo Fighters, Hendrix, White Stripes, Def Leppard…it’s like I’m just playing stuff from my own personal collection!

Man, it’s hard to believe I’ve been doing this thing I love called radio since 1990 and I’ve been on Bay Area radio waves since 1997! Somehow, it still feels brand new to me. It just keeps getting better! Music is my whole life so in addition to being on the air, I’ve done quite a bit of TV, most notably as host of that crazy little show called KOFY-TV Dance Party.

My never-ending passion for music continues off the air as well. I’m a musician at heart. I play bass guitar but the first instrument I ever played was trumpet. I played that from junior high school through my high school years which included jazz band and marching band for Livermore High School. Nowadays I write and perform own music and I’ve played in several local rock bands. Most recently, I released a pop-rock single called “Thank You” and directed the music video for it! It’s easy to find on YouTube, so check it out when you get a sec.

Like I said, It’s all about music for me. Even when I’m out mountain biking the awesome trails we have here or cruising around the bay in my vintage 1969 VW Beetle – the music is right there.
