Even with a 10-1 record, the 49ers are still considered underdogs. Why? Well who knows.
The Niners have silenced critic after critic yet they’re still being seen as underdogs. This weekend the Niners will take on Baltimore and are being seen as a five-point underdog.
After Monday night’s game where Baltimore took on LA, Baltimore looked amazing. Lamar Jackson is one of the leading candidates for NFL MVP and played a major factor in their 45-6 win on Monday night.
Entering Week 13, the 49ers have the best record in the league. They just beat Green Bay at home, 37-8. Jimmy Garoppolo finished that game with a perfect QB rating, yet they’re still underdogs.
The last team to have a 10-1 start and enter Week 13 as underdogs were the 2007 Green Bay Packers. They ended up losing that game to Dallas.
Let’s hope the Niners don’t have that happen to them. Regardless it should be a great game come Sunday.
