You love your pet, right? Now you’ll love a new law in California. Did you know that before 2019, only a licensed vet could provide emergency medical assistance to your pet? If your dog or cat was distressed, you would lose valuable time.
Because of the new law, first responders can provide the medical assistance to your prized pet right there on the scene–that is, if the responders aren’t too busy because of another new California law: one that allows those 18 and older to ride electric scooters WITHOUT a helmet on city streets where the cars can go up to 35mph.
